22nd International Conference for Holistic Vision
in Spa/Belgium
from 30 October to 1st November, 2009
“ Expanding our horizons”

The conference intends to provide an overview of
the whole spectrum of holistic vision.

The main focuses will be:
- discovering new techniques of vision improvement
- discovering how the eyes can be doors leading to a
general well-being both on the physical level as well as the
psychological level.
- discovering how certain professions develop very
precise techniques to obtain the visual performance required.
- discovering ….
In order to make effective use of the wide range of knowledge and
interests of all vision instructors and friends in holistic eye
work, we ask you to submit your topic for a lecture, short
presentation, workshop in the framework of the conference.
We wish to compose a well-balanced program from the three subject
areas specified above, with alternating theoretical and practical
lectures.
1. Lectures
For each lecture proposal, the following specifications are
required:
1. Title and abstract, as well as information about the scope of
application (a total of approx. 1 page)
2. Qualification profile of the speaker (career, personal reference
to the subject, etc.)
The conference team will select the contributions according to the
above-mentioned criteria.
If you are selected you will be asked to send us the title,
abstract and any further information you would like to see in the
conference hand-out or CD in the three conference languages (English
– French – German)
The terms will be the same for all speakers:
Each person who holds a 60 minute lecture will obtain:
1. Free participation in the 22nd International Conference for
Holistic Vision 2009, including the formal dinner
2. Accommodation for 2 nights including breakfast
Travel expenses as well as expenses for lunch and supper will be
borne by the speaker him- / herself.
2. Movement
If you have a proposal to lead visual and physical exercises in
the morning or between the lectures, please submit us your proposal
For each proposal, the following specifications are required:
1. Title and abstract, as well as information about the scope of
application
2. Qualification profile of the speaker (career, personal reference
to the subject, etc.)
If you are selected you will be asked to send us the title,
abstract and any information you would like to see in the conference
hand-out or CD in the three conference languages (English – French –
German)
The conditions will depend on whether we select one or several
people for this activity
3. Short presentations or posters
If you wish to make a short presentation (max 15’) of your work,
workshop or product, please contact us for the conditions.
For each proposal, the following specifications are required:
1. Title and abstract, as well as information about the scope of
application
2. Qualification profile of the speaker (career, personal reference
to the subject, etc.)
If you are selected you will be asked to send us the title,
abstract and any information you would like to see in the conference
hand-out or CD in the three conference languages (English – French –
German)
4. Product exhibition
If you wish to have a space to sell or to make a demonstration of
your product, please contact us for practical arrangements and
terms.
5. Workshops
On Thursday 29 October, Friday 30 (morning), Sunday 1 November
(evening) and Monday 2 November 2009, half-day and full-day
workshops will take place. (and maybe Tuesday as well)
For these workshops, we also ask you to submit proposals.
For the application for a workshop, the following documents are
required:
1. Title, abstract as well as information about the scope and
possibilities of application, specification of experiences with the
respective work (a total of approx. 1 page)
2. Qualification profile of the speaker (career, personal reference
to the subject, etc.)
3. Languages: Let us know in which languages you will teach your
workshop (English, French or German) and if you are able to
translate in the two other languages either by yourself or with the
help of a partner who will translate for you – or if you need that
we organize it
If you are selected you will be asked to send us the title,
abstract and any information you would like to see in the conference
hand-out or CD in the three conference languages (English – French –
German)
The workshop facilitators will obtain:
1. 60% of the net revenues
2. Free accommodation for 1 night including breakfast.
Travel expenses as well as expenses for lunch and supper will be
borne by the instructor him- / herself.
